Collage, is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot. 15.5% Alcohol with bright cherry pie aroma and flavor.  Typical to Eames' wine it has  great structure lively mouth feel ....this wine has is drinkable now but will age well for years in the bottle.   Alfred Eames Cellars' wine is traditionally crafted from grapes grown in the high elevations of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Eames' red wines are fermented in open vats, barrel aged in French oak, unfined and unfiltered.

Opened this bottle with certified Sommelier and Cicerone Monty Haltiner and then sampled it again 18 hours later with broker John Maxwell this is a very nice bottle of wine.  With out a doubt Alfred is one of the premiere growers in Colorado.... and his passion for wine acquired when he was a young man living in Spain shows.  Colorado winemaking evolves every year if you want to sample the cutting edge try a bottle fro Alfred Eames Cellars.
