The purple-colored 2011 Malbec is my favorite of the three vintages. Smoke, violets, incense, and black cherry aromas set the stage for a surprisingly elegant, lengthy wine that offers superb value. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. The new releases from Durigutti are all fine values made from fruit purchased in Uco and Agrelo. They are bottled without fining or filtration.
