 Created in 1679 for an ailing king who could not digest risen bread, Grissini breadsticks have been a signature part of Italian dining for over 3 centuries. While many regional variations exist, we are proud to offer the original Turinese recipe, baked in the very region they were invented, in the heart of Turin.  Our Grissini are handmade and baked in small batches, only using the finest first quality ingredients. A family business, our baker has been serving the small municipality of Carmagnola since 1860, passing down secrets and traditions from father to son. We have made a special arrangement with our baker to paint his exquisite breadsticks with authentic Malpighi Saporoso and Apple Balsamic, to create an appetizer that is both top quality and unique.Enjoy our Grissini alone, with any number of soft cheeses and dips, or for a special treat, wrapped in thinly sliced prosciutto.
