2009 M&N, estate grown, certified organic & biodynamic, is a blend of 55% Pinot noir and 45% Meunier grown in the Upper West Side block on Jack Rabbit Hill. Both varieties were naturally fermented (no commercial yeasts or nutrients) in stainless vats for 6 weeks at natural cellar temperatures around 65F, then racked and aged 12 months in 2nd year french barrels. Red cherry, violets, rasberry, and dark coffee. 13.7% alc.
