Aged in the cellars of Bodegas Navalon in the small DO Valdepeñas, located in the heart of Spain. Bodegas Navalon has been the passion of the same local family for several generations. It specializes in producing classic, oak-aged Spanish red wines that are only released when they have reached the peak of perfection.
Color: Mid ruby red in color with a brick red rim... Nose: Pronounced aromas of fresh red fruit, prunes, cherries, coffee and toffee, vanilla and caramel... Palate: Earthy, spicy, minty, elegant and fresh. Well-balanced with warm and generous integrated oak on the palate...Finish: Long, intense finish... Food pairing: Red meat, venison, stews and mature cheeses.
