" The 2008 Triton is 100% Tinta de Toro sourced from old vines some of which are located outside the boundaries of Toro requiring that the generic DO of Castilla y Leon be utilized. The wine was aged for 15 months in new French oak. Notes of Asian spices, tar, tapenade, violets, blackberry, and blueberry inform the nose of this richly fruity, layered, lengthy offering. There is enough underlying structure to allow for another 2-3 years of development and this superb value can be enjoyed through 2020 if not longer."
