Alix de Montille only selects parcels that meet her requirements, with controlled yields and carefully pruned and plowed vines. Purchases are only made from parcels adhering to sustainable viticultural practices. Some vineyards are even in the process of being converted to organic farming. Alix works approximately five hectares of vines spread across the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâcon as well as Chablis.
About 35,000 bottles are labeled Deux Montille Soeur Frère each vintage.Crisp white Burgundy Chardonnay. A soft white wine with citrus and hazelnut on the nose. Delicious creamy wine with acidity and a pleasant aftertaste, nicely balanced. Matured in oak barrels for 12 months.
