Our gourmet flatbreads are crafted in the Italian region of Piedmont. Our bakery was established in1860 by Giacomo Bertolone, who quickly became well-known for his artisan-made breadsticks and flatbreads. These mini-flatbreads, or "linguette," are handmade in small batches, using only traditional methods and gourmet ingredients. The results in a warm, earthy cracker that is satisfying alone or in combination with many different fine foods. Our Apple Balsamic Flatbreads are brushed with authentic Malpighi Apple Balsamic Vinegar, which offers a light tartness to the subtle flavor of the flatbread.
"Jerry's suggestion" ...Alright this delicacy requires special handling. First open the package and slide one of the flat breads into your hand. Then nose it as you would a glass of wine. With the subtle notes of Malpighi's finest still rattling around in your head take your take your tongue and just give the flat bread a little lick. At this point a voice in the back of your mind will be whispering to you about the various combinations of cheese, meats, sweets savories that will make your H'ordourves the hit of your next gathering.
