Our artisan-made flatbreads are baked in the Italian region of Piedmont.  Established in 1860, our bakery was founded by Giacomo Bertolone, who quickly became known for his gourmet breadsticks and flatbreads.  These mini-flatbreads, or "linguette," are handmade in small batches using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.  The result is a crispy, satisfying cracker that can be enjoyed alone, or in combination with a wide variety of fine foods.  Our Saporoso Flatbreads are glazed with authentic Malpighi Saporoso, which lends them a warm aroma that blends beautifully with the consistency of our breadsticks. 

"Jerry's suggestion"  ...Like the apple balsamic linguette this delicacy requires special handling.  First open the package and slide one of the flat breads into your hand.  Then nose it as you would a glass of wine.  With the subtle notes of Malpighi's finest still rattling around in your head take your take your tongue and just give the flat bread a little lick.  At this point a voice in the back of your mind will be whispering to you about the various combinations of cheese, meats,  sweets savories that will make your H'ordourves the hit of your next gathering.
