The Touzot family domaine is located in the norther part of the Macon region, just south of the Cotes Chalonnaise. Environmentally friendly practices are used throughout the winery. Jean Touzot's Macon Villages has a lively nose with green apples and flowers. Flavors of juicy green apples and melon. It is the perfect all-purpose white wine, served chilled but not ice-cold.
This wine goes particularly well with lighter fish and poultry dishes, shrimp, crab, cold meats, and is perfect as an aperitif. This is an outstanding value in Chardonnay.
