"Tyrel Lawson started working in the vineyards at Two Rivers Winery when he was in his teens. After a stint as vineyard manager and assistant winemaker he took over the reins as winemaker at one of Colorado's largest and best producers of fine wine. Kahil is his own label and in 2010 in his first attempt to the Gold Medal at the Colorado Mountain Wine Fest. Thanks to the foresight of Bob Witham, Tyrel is able to work with a variety of growers and utilize the facilities at Two Rivers.
